People would not be able to answer these questions easily, even though they receive electricity bills with the kilowatt hours they have used every month. This is why we created "1kWhat?": a device that helps users visualize and make tangible the amount of energy we consume in our daily lives using electrical appliances.
We are currently working on this device in order to spread its use and train people on better energy consumption as well as the repercussions they can make when using energy. We are also working on introducing 1kWhat? to various professionals from disparate industries to get them to realize the energy they use in relation to their professions.
Because the more we learn about energy today, the better decisions we will make tomorrow.
